NO FERTILIZER for the first year, and NO LIME application for 6-8 years when using Acer's blend. This blend should never be used for planted containers or grow bags. Cost is $53 per cubic yard for delivered topsoil/compost blend. For orders over 21 cubic yds, please call our office to place your order. Soil deliveries and mulch deliveries cannot be shipped together. Our delivery trucks can hold up to 10 cubic yds of material at a time. Miniumum order of 4 cubic yards is required for delivery. This blend should never be used for planted containers. For containers use a potting mix that provides adequate drainage yet retains sufficient moisture for plant growth.
Local towns do not incur a surcharge and include Deep River, Chester, Essex, Ivoryton, Centerbrook, Westbrook, Clinton, and Killingworth.
A surcharge will be applied automatically to these towns:
A $20 delivery surcharge will be added per truckload for Old Lyme, Old Saybrook, Madison, and North Madison.
A $35 surcharge will be added per truckload for Haddam, East Haddam, Higganum, and North Guilford.
A $65 surcharge will be added per truckload for Branford, Durham, East Lyme, Hadlyme, Lyme, and Guilford.
A $95 surcharge will be added per truckload for North Branford and Northford.
A $125 surcharge will be added per truckload for East Hampton, East Haven, Middletown, Moodus, New Haven, and Portland.

Customer must be present at the time of delivery, or the unloading area must be clearly marked. Our trucks require a 10 foot wide opening on firm, level ground on which to drive and dump material. Loads cannot be split up into multiple locations on a property.
Acer Gardens reserves the final judgement, if inclement weather is unsuitable to make delivery that day. Delivery day is subject to change.
Acer Gardens is not responsible for property damage done by trucks. Any buried utilities or pipes should be identified ahead of time by the customer. Delivery driver reserves final judgement, if site selection is unsuitable to accommodate our truck.
